 ACECLOFENAC BRAND NAME:- ACECLO,DOLOKIND 100mg tab ,200mg SR tab. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). ACECLOFENAC is  a moderately COX-2 selective congener of diclofenac having similar properties. It is an analgesic antipyretic and anti-inflammatory drug, enhancement of glycosaminoglycan synthesis may confer chondroprotective property to ACECLOFENAC.  It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).  MECHANISM & PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:-  IT inhibits PG synthesis and is some what COX-2 selective .
